Harness the energy of the new moon in Leo as we flow through a more traditional moon salutation practice. Known for its calming, yin energy, moon salutation helps us connect with the energy of nature to find balance from our active, yang lifestyles. Following this flow will be a meditation and kundalini kriya to help cultivate the wisdom of the new moon archetype and usher in the teachings of Leo: to show up for yourself and overcome self-doubt and insecurity on the path to being the fullest version of you. All levels of experience are welcome and no prior kundalini experience is necessary.

Yin + Sound with Ash

Experience the perfect blend of practices, designed to improve flexibility, release tension and harmonize the body’s energetic flow. This class begins with yin yoga, focusing on the fascia and connective tissue, and concludes with a soothing sound bath, using frequency and vibration to balance the body, mind and spirit.

Ash describes herself as a modern day ecstatic, traveling the world and collecting bits of magic from each transcendent experience to create her own brand of spiritual alchemy. Music and sound have always been a therapeutic part of her life and after attending her first sound bath, the effect was so profound that she left her corporate job and began her own healing practice, sharing her gifts through sound therapy, various forms of yoga, reiki and ecstatic dance.

HIIT, Yin, and Release with Richard Gartner

Prepare, maximize, and wind down in meaningful and research-backed ways. In this workshop, we spend time preparing our joints and connective tissues, as well as priming our lymphatic system. HIIT routines have been shown to increase cardiac fitness and blood health. Yin Yoga helps release tight connective tissues and has been shown to decrease stress.

After age 30, we begin to lose as much as 5% muscle mass per decade. We also lose bone density, elasticity and lymphatic flow. A thoughtful, well-designed routine can slow these processes down, and may reverse some. Richard has designed an exercise template that feels safe and effective for him, and has grounded this routine with six studies on exercise and aging.

Restorative Yoga & Reiki with Laura

Join Laura for a restorative yoga class enhanced by the healing energy of reiki. You can expect gentle movements before settling into supported poses and stillness. You’ll spend several minutes in each shape as Laura, who is a Reiki Master, gives reiki to each participant. The combination of restorative yoga and energy healing can help you balance, reset, and fully relax the body and mind. Class will conclude with a guided meditation and final relaxation.

What is Reiki? Reiki is an energy healing technique that uses gentle hand movements to facilitate the flow of energy throughout the body. It can help reduce stress, promote relaxation and provide healing to our physical and emotional well being.

Doga with Leta and Laurie

Dogs are natural yogis: they live in the moment, they breathe from their bellies and they stretch immediately upon waking! Deepen your connection with your dog in this fun class which includes a walking meditation, human and canine yoga poses, doggie-massage and meditation. Please bring a large towel, treats, and a long leash. Prior yoga experience is not required. All proceeds will benefit Animal Friends.
