High-Intensity Interval Training, Yin Yoga, and Myofascial Release

Bring your mat, a towel, and water! Join Richard to maximize your workout while being safe. First, we’ll practice 15 minutes of myofascial releases to prep our joints and connective tissues, as well as prime our lymphatic system. Then we’ll sweat through 45 minutes of cardio HIIT routines, which are a boon to our metabolism, cardiac fitness, and biomarkers. Finally, we’ll soften into 45 minutes of Yin Yoga, which releases tight connective tissues and has been shown to decrease stress. After age 30, we begin to lose as much as 5% muscle mass per decade. We also lose bone density, elasticity and lymphatic flow. A thoughtful, well-designed routine can slow these processes down, and may reverse some. Richard (who is 45) has designed a template that feels safe and effective for him, and has grounded this template in six studies on exercise and aging.

In this 2 hour workshop we will discuss each chakra in detail and learn practices to help keep them in balance. We will conclude with a guided meditation practice through all of the chakras to cultivate more insight, awareness and understanding.

Baby and Me

Join Divya Prem to connect with your baby, your body, and others in this fun class designed for caretakers and children ages newborn to 2 years old (though older toddlers are also welcome to join in the fun). This class will be held in a comfortable and relaxed environment, where you & your kiddos can feel free to make noise and move around as needed. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Price is per adult. Regular class pass can be used.
